Why cyclists must wear cycle socks

There is always an ongoing debate between people who vouch for cycle socks and the ones who find no particular benefit of wearing one. And then there are a few who just wear them because everyone else around them is found wearing a pair of these socks while bicycling. But is there any significant benefit of putting these socks on, other than that it makes you look cool and trendy? Well, you might be surprised to know but the benefits of these socks far outweigh their negatives, if at all there is any. So, let’s analyze and understand what exactly the benefits of wearing these socks are.
The first and foremost benefit of wearing cycle socks is that it keeps your feet a lot cooler and sweat free than any other sock. The socks are specifically designed with a purpose to absorb the sweat and keep the feet dry during cycling excursions. High quality cycling socks are quite thin on the bottom and sheer on the top. This in turn help a great deal in air pass over the feet, thus providing them sufficient amount of air to feet to keep them dry and sweat free for a long period of time.
The second advantage of these socks is that it saves the balls of your foot from developing blisters. The socks have a bit of padding which prevent any sort of scratching or rubbing of the balls of the feet against the shoes while cycling. In this way, you can keep your foot both fresh and healthy.
